 Two museum-ready video installations

Our FaceAge modular theatre environments and community engagement activities have been developed to deploy smoothly across venues and settings. Both the Gallery and Alcove versions can be accompanied by a beautifully designed system of large freestanding panels containing powerful images and text from FaceAge. With more than 50 panels to choose from, we can construct over 60 linear feet of 8’ high panel wall configurations offering compelling environments where audiences can linger and be drawn to spend time viewing the FaceAge chapter films.  These two ‘turn-key’ installation versions can be customized to create the optimal solution for your venue.

FaceAge is an artful platform for community engagement, educational programs, and research

Alcove  FaceAge

The Alcove version provides an intimate experience and is designed for quick installation in smaller spaces such as meeting rooms, classrooms, and entryways. Alcove FaceAge utilizes three 75” LED screens and includes an audiophile speaker system as well as a bank of 12 high-fidelity headphones with individual volume controls, enabling each viewer to personalize an immersive FaceAge experience. Standing room depth is flexible and setup time for the Alcove version is about an hour.

Gallery  FaceAge

The Gallery version is designed for flexible installations in large lobbies, galleries, or exhibit halls where sizable audiences can approach and view the three projection screens. Optional fabric curtains contain the space and block ambient light, or the screens can be left unobstructed for audiences to see and approach the exhibit from a distance. Standing room depth is flexible to accommodate varied audience sizes and theatre spaces. The high-fidelity surround sound system used in this version saturates the space, making sound containment a consideration.

The Gallery version includes a truss-mounted front-projection system using three high-definition 7500 lumen projectors that can be fitted with short- or long-throw lenses. Install time for the Gallery version is 4-6 hours.

Power needs for either version do not typically exceed the 110V supply available in most spaces. We can ship either version in road cases suitable for freight shipping, or delivered via cargo van in a series of tour stops.
